I can't figure out how to do this! I attempted to delete by clicjing and pressing delete, but it doesn't do anything. Google hasn't helpedmuch for the gog version either

Locate the save folder on your computer's file system and delete them there. When you reach the Civ3 install folder, you should probably look for the Conquests subfolder and check for a "Saves" folder in there.

Be aware that the auto-saves folder will only keep several of the most recent dates and a 4000 BC save for the current game.
