Hi, noting the great sale price for the highly recommended Civ4. Will it work with Win10?

I played tons of Civ 2 and Civ 5 but didn't like Civ 6 at all. I know I will like Civ 4. What is regarded as the best mod?

Hypothetically, it should work, but Windows 10 is a moving target. As for best mods, a lot of the ones already included with the game are said to be fantastic, but there's also the massive Caveman2Cosmos mod.

The mods I've enjoyed the most:

* Rhye's and Fall of Civilization (the one that comes with the base game is not the latest version)

* Fall From Heaven II (this one also needs to be downloaded).

And then there's of course the BUG mod, which is "only" an interface mod but I can't recommend it enough.

There are dozens of other mods, just take a look at CivFanatics and enjoy!

It's a game made well after the era games were written on obsolete 9x platforms (turn of the millennium), so no reason at all why it wouldn't. I run it just fine.

I'm curious about mods too. I might get Civ 4 from the sale...

Never played Civ4, but enjoyed 1-3 and Alpha Centauri.
I can google it sure, but the popularity of these games might bring a bunch of nonsense as well, I thought.
