Hi!
I just re-downloaded Alpha Centauri onto my new Windows 8.1 laptop today and it isn't running. I've tried compatibility modes for XP SP3, Vista SP2, Win7 and Windows 8. I've also tried running in admin mode. I've re-installed it three times and tinkered with various ini fixes found on the forum. All have failed with the attached error message.
My Computer's specs are:
AMD A8-6410 APU Quad Core 2.0 GHz
AMD Radeon R5 Integrated Graphics
8 GB RAM
750 GB HDD
