Well, see i got two machines
one a W7 Desktop and the other a W8 Laptop, in the latter i am getting random crashes to desktop
Is the game not compatible with W8?

Hmm, it works okay for me in W8.1 Pro 64-bit. It must be a separate issue of some kind.
