Hi all! I've been on an Alpha Centauri binge lately and everything's been fine until I noticed I kept getting this odd bug. Occasionally I would get a pop up saying "Lady Deidre [or any other faction] has an urgent message for you" and I'd click 'ok'. Then the message will disappear and come back again and again until it disappears without me ever getting her message. Next thing I know, we're no longer pact brothers or some such. Now other messages come up fine such as trades or declarations of war, but only urgent messages seem to not work. Anyone else have this problem and if so is there a fix?

I'm using the unofficial patch btw which was posted on the forums here and have noticed that the message comes up in both SMAC and SMAX.
