Hi all,

I just started playing this tonight. I have two questions, actually.

1) Whenever I learn a new technology, someone starts speaking about it. These little speeches ALWAYS occur with a left/right echo. Is that intentional to give it some sort of other world feel or is this something wrong??? It sounds wrong to me, but not sure.

2)I actually own the boxed version of this game, bought it here again so as to have it work on my newer computer, but was wondering if I could use my old boxed version of the expansion pack (can't recall the name of it, but there was an expansion pack to this and I do own it. It's here somewhere LOL) Will I be able to add that to the GOG version or will it not work with the GOG version.

ADDED IN EDIT: Well, I quit the game, restarted it, and now the speech is fine. Not a one second delay on the echo. Don't know what the heck I did wrong the first time.

Alien Crossfire doesn't integrate with the original game but needs to be started by its own executable; if the original Alpha Centauri doesn't work on your system then Alien Crossfire likely won't either.
