I'm trying to make a custom faction with an impunity to a certain couple of social engineering choices but impunity, immunity, and penalty simply don't do anything - I'm sure there's more duds but i don't feel like testing them all.

I'm running SMACX and the SMAniaC mod

I wouldn't think it's the mod's fault because within it are factions that use 'robust' and 'impunity'.

Here are the first lines, straight from the text file:

I still see the -3 research hit these two choices provide when I load up the faction. So what's the problem here?
Without these other social modifications I may as well be reskinning spartans in this case...

EDIT: I was wrong, they do work. I missed it because I expected editing impunity social choices would work like secret projects - as in, the red penalty would disappear from the social engineering table like cloning vats and power.

Hey, I'd rather it be a stupid oversight on my part than an actual glitch.
