rolsskk: The game still doesn't work. :/ It'll launch, get to the screen where it asks whether you want to play Alpha Centauri or Alien Expansion, and when you make a selection, it crashes.

Petrell: Hmm, maybe yours is not related to problem introduced by El Capitan but previously encountered intro movie (or apparent lack of Alpha Centauri.ini) issue mentioned in another topic?

I think you should contact GOG support. Maybe GOG techies can provide you MAC specific workaround or produce a fix for it.
Well, GOG support has officially given up on the matter:
I'm afraid that at this point I'm unable to provide any more advice. Maybe a future update will help with this issue.

I'm afraid I too am suffering the same problem. I have XQuartz installed. I'll eagerly await an update and would be happy to purchase it again!

Please re-download your Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri DMG as we've updated it work better with Mac OS X 10.11 and we've included a fix that fixes a conflict between the Mac printer driver and Wineskin :)

The file you want to have is the following: sid_meiers_alpha_centauri_2.0.0.10.dmg
