Excuse this simple q but how on earth do I delete the game files on a Mac version? I could always find them easily on the PC version but am so far unable to locate them on a Mac!

Thanks in advance for any feedback

READ FIRST (MAC OS X): FAQ and solutions for known issues:
Q: Where can I find my Boxer (DOS) game's save files?
To access your saved games, go to Applications -> Terminal
In Terminal, paste, or type in, the following line and press Enter (Return):
open ~/"Library/Application Support/Boxer/Gamebox States"
Find your game's folder. The package containing your save files is located inside.
Thank You - I scanned pages of data and missed this entirely - much appreciated, thank you again!

HI. I am using Mac OS HIgh Sierra and this terminal method doesnt work. can anyone help out?
This is quite late but I'm mainly replying to help others with the same question/problem who may come across this.

To access your save games on a Mac: right-click the "Alpha Centauri Alien Crossfire.app file", and then click "Show Package Contents". From the resulting new view/window, work your way down through this folder tree (by double-clicking each subsequent folder in sequence):
drive_c\Program Files\GOG Games\Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri\saves

That's it...they should all be there, and can be treated as any other files using Finder.

P.S. Just to add, as far as I know, the previous advice given above is not correct and will not help whatsoever (nothing to do with Mac OS version). The answer involving Boxer only applies to older DOS games (which Alpha Centauri certainly is not).
