Sorry if this has been asked before but I have a couple related questions about this game and couldn't find the answer by searching. Does SMAX come out of the box with any unofficial patches already included? I tried checking it by looking up the installed version number, but I'm not sure if installing Scient's patch changes it, it says Version 5.0 from 2002.

I'm asking because reading up on Scient's patch fixes I found that among many other things it assigns the correct background music to the Believers, so I thought that would be good enough proof to know if any unofficial patch was already included. So I unistalled the patch and the game, and did a clean install without the patch but noticed that the Believers already do have the correct music, so I'm not sure if it was something that was fixed with Alien Crossfire or any of the later official patches, or if Scient's patch (or any other) has been incorporated into the installer through one of the later updates.
