This game has no secrets for me except for one, how do you stop from market crashing and loosing a ton of energy reserves. Economic victory for me is very rare since it constantly crashes, i had some simply because income per turn was insane while beating everyone to a bloody pulp.
Cant figure it out what stops it, even as Morgan whos all about energy reserves, he crashes too.

Did you try to disable random events?

Ah no i always leave them on ...
So theres nothing you can do about it to stop it from happening except for this?

Aw i like playing with it on for research breaktroughs and even volcanos they can help sometimes making someones territory accesible by land for easier conquest :D

You have to have a particular building (energy bank i think?) in every settlement in order to stop it happening, however, if you are taking enemy bases, then its not possible.

The simplest solution is to save the game every turn and cycle through about 10 games while you are taking enemy bases.... I do not consider that cheating because it makes no logical sense that freshly captured bases can drain half your energy reserves!
