I bought SMAC a couple of years ago before Alien Crossfire was part of the package. How do I get the Crossfire expansion that comes with it standard. Do I need to re- download or do I have to buy again to get it?

i think you have to uninstall/reinstall it

Uninstall previous version, download new installer and reinstall.
