Hi all, I have a quick question about what patches need to be installed for this version.
I understand that this version includes the "SMAC_Win2000_XP_Compatibility_Update_v1.03f" patch but I want to know which of the unofficial patches to install.

I have downloaded the "smacxpv2.exe" and the "smacp4e.exe" patches, do i need to install both of these or just one to enjoy the benefits (bug fixes etc).
It has been a long time since I played this game and I want to run it as well as possible!.

If you're having a hard time reading my unofficial patches thread ask me specific questions on that thread and I will try to cover it for you personally. I have added the note "This should be fairly simple. You either want the patch for the expansion (SMAX) or you watch the patch for the original (SMAC). I think you want to play the original."
