I am new to this game, but so far I am having fun. I have one question, though. Whenever I use aircraft they just disappear after I use them. Why?

Have you been letting them automatically go back to base then their turn expires? Needlejets only have enough fuel to last two turns, and by default, the game should automatically move them to the base when their first turn is over.
Similarly, Coptors will lose 30% of their health when their turn expires and they haven't landed in an air strip or a base.
Gravships shouldn't have any disappearing issues, however.
