I've reached chapter 5 but my Bluestar isn't unlocked. Would it be because I haven't died yet?

You should have gotten a notification when you entered Sector 5 that you've unlocked the ship. Did you get that notification?

I did not. And when I hit retire and go out to start a new game, it is not unlocked - but it shows I have chapters 1-5 unlocked. I don't know.

Yeah, had a similar problem with the chapter 7 ship. It din't unlock after finishing the chapter, and still din't unlock after I finished the game. But on my next run, once I finished the chapter 7, it was unlocked. Same goes with achievements.

I have no idea why this happened.

But the game is so amazing, that little things like this don't bother me at all.

So ya I hit chapter 7 and my warpshell didn't unlock either. The unlock notification seemed to flash for a second and then disappeared. So neither Bluestar nor Warpshell.

I am still in my first game with the Nuke Runner, I am betting it has something to do with that.

I'm not sure where the problem is. I for one, haven't played with Nuke Runner ship yet. So I don't think it related to this ship.

At this point, I have 70 hours in this game, finished the game 3-4 times, and unlocked every ship there is. So just have fun and play the game, and eventually you'll unlock them all.

Also, devs seems to update the game quite often. So hopefully they will fix those bugs as well.

Ok guys I think I figured out the problem. Even though I didn't run into this issue but I believe I know why you guys can't unlock some ships.

At the end of each sector there are unlockables and each ship has it's own unlockables. So I believe that you have to play as the first ship (tiger something) to unlock ships as this is the unlockables for this ship.

The patch fixed it. All previously earned ships unlocked.
