It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I bought Shogo a couple of months ago and now finally have a chance to install it. However, I've heard that there are some issues in getting it to run properly, especially on Windows 10. As such, I'm wondering:

- What must I do to get it to run correctly?
- What mods/patches/whatever should I download/ are recommended for Shogo?
- Is there anything I should/should not do while playing to keep the game running smoothly?
- Are there any tips/tricks/anything else anybody has that I should keep in mind?

I'm inferring (I hope correctly) that you have yet to install and run the game at all. If that's true, I'd suggest doing that in regard to your question. If it doesn't install properly or crashes/etc. then it'll be easier for people to potentially help you in making it do the opposite.

Otherwise, I get it - it doesn't hurt to prepare for possible eventualities when it comes to old software. I took a similar approach with Deus Ex: Invisible War (no amount of preparation could've spared me from a save corrupting crash with that one, unfortunately).
You need to make Shogo run on one processor. It's called CPU affinity. If you're running Windows 7 or later, you can set the processor affinity for Shogo by following this guide:

https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/start-an-application-assigned-to-a-specific-cpu-in-windows-vista/

If you're running an earlier version of Windows, you'll need a program called CPU Control to do it.

Here's another post about it:

The creator has discontinued updating his projects, but CPU Control is still available. There's no longer a screenshot explaining how it works though.
