Why would they do this to us? It's not like they'll ever make another SHOGO. Stop toying with our souls, Monolith!

I wouldn't say it'll never happen. I have faith. Lith knows it wouldn't break the sales charts but it's obviously been on their mind for a while.

Heh heh, yea, there have been a few references, like in the first minute of the F.E.A.R.2 (Fan QA) Ask the Devs - Round 2 video.
And happy holidays everybody, finally got around to getting SHOGO for myself on this occasion.

Man, I never noticed that before. I would LOVE to see a Shogo 2. Shogo multiplayer was one of the few games online where I dominated. Quake 2, CounterStrike, all that I was only ever OK at, but Shogo was my game.
(and will be again as soon as I finish buying it here)

Monolith never made the two expansion packs that they were planning on making for Shogo due to its relatively poor sales. Guess that's what you get for releasing a game one month before Half-Life.
Seeing this pic from Project Origin, and also making note of the references to Shogo in the first F.E.A.R., it certainly shows that Shogo is still on Monolith's mind. It'd be nice to think they'd either make a sequel to Shogo or even redo it altogether.
