Hi,

after some years I wanted to get back to my old beloved game and I've encountered a rather new problem.

When I try to start the game I get a prompt saying "Invalid shell DLL version for cshell.dll. DLL version is 1, current version is 3." For me it sounds like I have a file that is too new for the game to be able to start, and I can't seem to find any solution to that problem. I tried getting dgvoodoo DLLs in Shogo main directory, I tried compatibility modes and downloading cshell.dll from internet, nothing helped.

If anyone has an idea on how to solve that problem, I'll be really grateful for help.

Okay, so I tinkered a bit and found a culprit.

I can't have any mod in custom files. Widescreen fix doesn't work for me, and my most beloved co-op mod was the one which forced the cshell.dll prompt. Also, on another note, dgvoodoo made the game almost unplayable, but Blood 2 dxwrapper posted in another thread here made some miracles, and the game works perfectly fine now.

So, my answer for the problem is, delete custom files. And, with that, comes a question, is there a way to make the co-op mod work again? I'm not using it often, but it would be nice to have the option to actually play it once in the future again...
