MarkoH01: Problem is that GOG also sells to US people and GOG always tried to be as careful as possible not to offend anybody. Hey, you can get Hatred on Steam ... not on GOG ... guess why ;)
ChicknDuck: I just find it odd to see differences between them, that make Steam appear less conservative.
Steam actually has a very strong no censoring policy. They are allowing basically everything. GOG is a curated store and people expect GOG to sort out what's best for them. I know that it is not what we would like it to be but that's the way it is. There was a short moment when Steam started to reject VNs and GOG was happy to take those that are suitable beyond 18 as well. Steam however reverted their decision and yes, at the moment they are selling uncensored stuff when GOG is not. I wish it would be different. At least the 18+ patch is not bis and can be downloaded for free.
