Hello,

I recently bought 5 Sherlock Holmes games via GOG. I wanted to start playing them in chronological order so I started with Sherlock Holmes: The Silver Earring, after I downloaded it with GOG Galaxy, I sadly discovered that the game simply won't start. After I press the "Play" button on GOG Galaxy, the window flashes for a brief moment but then..nothing.
I've checked my task manager and "game.exe" pops up just for a split seccond before disappearing again. There were not many tips online, here are the things I tried so far:

1. Running the game as administrator + using compatability mode
2. I deactivated the Data Execution Prevention

Could someone help me please? I really want to start playing but somthing apparently doesn't want me to..

For me ›Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper‹ does not start, but it only does so via Galaxy. If game.exe is triggered directly, it starts up.

P.S. If others want want to play the games chronologically, then my mentioned game comes first, but perhaps it was not included OPs bundle.
