I enter the game and go to the options menu, and when I click any of the "Joystick" buttons, all I get is "Move Joystick to the upper left and hit the 1 Button". Well, I do this and nothing happens, and the only way I can exit the game is to Alt-Tab out and close the window. Any help to make this game work with my throttle and joystick?!

PC Specs, just in case

AMD Phenom II Processor
AMD Radeon HD 6850 Graphics
6gigs RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
1 TB Hard Drive

I haven't tried playing Shattered Steel yet but I have some experience setting up HOTAS systems. I use a CH Products Fighter Stick, Pro Throttle and Rudder Peddles. I use all three when playing MechWarrior 4, but it wasn't easy to set up. I assume the Thrustmaster HOTAS system came with software to program them. First, make sure all your devices are combined into one virtual controller because some games can't handle having more than one joystick connected. Second, make sure you don't have too many buttons and axes as again, some games can't handle a joystick with too many buttons or axes. Then try experimenting with with which axes are controlled by the stick, by the throttle and by the rudder. On my CH Products software I can assign them to the "X, Y, R, U" and several other axes.

I hope this helps.
