Hey guys, I've gotten to the last level (I think) the one where you destroy the interplanetary gate, and defeated the mantis, and the waves of attackers from the gate. But then the science vessel just sits there forever and the mission never counts as completed. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

--> In the last mission you actually have to PROTECT the gate from destruction. If it's destroyed you will never finish the mission.

Yeah, sorry my post wasn't very detailed. Played this back in the day when it first came out, but was too noob to beat it, lol. But yeah, gate was fine, so was the science vessel. Killed everything and waited till like 25 minutes, lol. Only objective that will never complete is "Capture the gate" or whatever. I did cycle on unlimited ammo and invun on on a couple previous tries to test how many nukes it took to kill the mantis, though (after being unable to kill him conventionally cause plasma goes through him)... If you don't quit out, would that have stopped me?

Probably a bug though... feel like Im grasping at straws, lol.

Yeah seems like a bug to me. If restarting the mission doesn't work then try reloading an earlier save...and if you didn't save your game on a rolling basis...well then what are bugs for? ;)

I experienced this and had to use the level skip cheat to finish the game. This seems like something to make a bug report about.
