I still have the MechWarrior4 games and have been looking for another mech based game

Its somwhat similar, but it reminds me more of MW3 than any of the others. Really though it feels more the like Earth/Starsiege series to me. Its worth $6 easily.

I'd love to see the MW line come here. I was a die-hard MW3 & 4 fan until I migrated to XP and now I can't run them anymore, even in compatibility mode.

Man, I'd love the Mechwarrior series, too. I'd also like the old Battletech: Crescent Hawks games. Unfortunately, we may never the Battletech games or Mechwarrior 1 on this site, I think they're in licensing purgatory due to the fact they include the 'Unseen' Mechs:(.

I don't know if you can activate them, but I have been able to get them to run on Win 7 Home Premium without any issues.

MW4 does run on XP; maybe you meant Vista or Windows 7. Anyway, MW4 Merc is now free. MekTek hosts it and has modified it. Maybe this free release will run on your system.
