Hello!

We've got a...new(?) Shantae game coming up called Shantae: Risky Revolution. It's a game that was supposed to be released in the Gameboy Advance era (2003-ish). The plan fell through.

In the trailer Matt Bozon says they're sort of re-making the game they never released. So it's going to have content that was originally planned, as well as new stuff. Bullet points for easier reading:

- this game was not released because the original Shantae game did poorly.

- The game would have some content cut (in the GBA period). The GBA cartridge did not have enough space. Not being able to save was a possibility.

- They aren't re-doing the coding and stuff from back then, it's being made with all the old files. Not much of a point I guess, but I thought this was neat.

- The story goes: Risky found a cave underground. She built a machine that would move land-locked towns by the ocean, making it easier to raid these places.

- Being able to move the map around will be a feature in the game.

- This is the game where some characters meet for the first time.

- Was originally planned to have link cable support. I wonder if this means we'll get multiplayer.

We missed out on the GBC/GBA release, but we got the other titles, so maybe we'll get this too.
