I get an error stating that the application made an "invalid call." I'm not sure what this means and the error doesn't really provide any feedback to me that would help me solve the issue such as saying there's a missing or corrupt file. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and followed guides on the GOG website for games crashing or not launching. My issue wasn't on there, but I followed the guides anyway. Obviously, it wasn't a lot of help. I will attach my error below. Doing some Google searches almost makes me believe that this is some sort of coding error for developers rather than an error to me as a user. I attached a capture of the error screen. Any help will be great.

I had the same issue on my laptop, but only when trying to run with the standard display. When I plugged an external monitor, the issue disappeared.

So I started fiddling with various display settings. Changing the refresh rate from 30Hz to 60Hz fixed the issue for me.

Windows 10 > Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings.
