I started playing Shantae games last year.

I loved the Game Boy Color one. It was hard to get into it, but it was awesome once you played the first one-two hours. I loved the item hunting, the puzzles /dungeons, the enemies, graphics, music and transformations. In fact, there were only three bad things for me:
1) The main world was tedious to traverse.
2) The bosses weren´t that good.
3) When you die you get totally screwed and you have to repeat too much.

Risky´s Revenge fixed all these three problems, and did many things right (remastering good music, remastering great enemies, reusing characters and story, improving the main gameplay, the map, etc), but screwed in many others:
1) Puzzles weren´t that great.
2) Gameplay was too easy.
3) Only two good dungeons.
4) TOO short.
5) Reusing a boss.
Etc

I wanted Pirate´s Curse to show on GOG, but I´ve missed the sale. I don´t care paying for this game if it´s good, but if it´s like Risky´s Revenge being easy, short, and with a lot less gameplay, I just don´t feel like paying full price. What do you think of this one over the others? Thanks in advance to any response!!
Based on the many positive reviews and how flipping gorgeous the game is, it's probably worth it, but it's also been going 50% off on Steam literally every month since November. So I doubt you'll have to wait long to see the same discount here.
