Hello everyone!

As stated in the title - I bought the game today (Sunday, 13-10-2019), installed it, started it. Checked options, changed language to german (because why not) and hit New Game (Neues Spiel actually ..).

Loading screen appears and at about 90% done the game freezes. Music keeps playing and blue, windows loading circle appears ..

When I click the mouse a standard windows error screen appears giving the choice to wait till the game starts to respond or to close the application. No other error screens are available.

Is anyone here able to help me out or should I just refund the game?

I have a similiar problem I have the gog galaxy version on my laptop and I get frequent crashes. The laptop is a ryzen 5 2500u with rx560x gpu, however when I run it on my desktop with an 8700k and a gtx1080 I get no such issues. Hopefully there will be a patch that will address this because I have had an awesome time with this game so far.

It only seemingly freezes. The start of a new game takes very long for whatever reason. I had to wait a couple of minutes (even on an SSD drive) but the loading actually eventually finished.

Games can often seem unresponsive while in the middle of loading. Just try more patience :)

i can confirm this, it doesn't freeze at 90%, it just takes a LONG time to load in. Just wait it out eventually it will finish loading and start into the game. Its annoying yes, but its a delay, not a freeze.
