I have a black screen at start and no sound.

I have updated VSredistc++ 2017, DirectX and ATI radeon drivers.

- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz
- Microsoft Windows 10 Professionnel N 10.0.17134 N° 17134
- Radeon HD7950 - 3072 Mo

Hi. I had this problem, too. Originally I had installed using the three downloads rather than using GOG Galaxy, because I had never been able to get Galaxy to install. (It told me I needed to run Windows Update, but that always gave me an error, too.) My solution was to run Windows Update, get through the errors that it was giving me by googling them. After several rounds of updates, which included some driver updates, I was able to get Galaxy working, and then install Shadows: Awakening through that, and my black screen issue was solved.

Sorry, I can't say what step actually fixed it, but probably the updating of drivers.

I am already able to install the game with GoG Galaxy and have the problem too.

I've tried last update of windows but the problem is always here.

In my case, no error is displayed, only black screen.

I will see with GoG support for more information about this
