Hey GOG... How the **** is that even possible, what do you do, hand them out individually? Go around everyone's account, pasting in the codes by hand?

Why the hell can there possibly be a situation where someone has codes and someone doesn't? Are you telling me that this isn't automated?... This is all pre-order stuff.. by it's very nature YOU GET NOTICE.

I can see no-one having it on time..but some yay, and some nay.. WTF? You DON'T have a system in place that scans your system for accounts that are eligible and hands this stuff out in a block? Does it do it in bits? (Hours apart seemingly) Don't the accounts have underlying flag code that is effectively "Show pre-order bonus? Y/N".. Isn't your system set up in a way to "do scan and apply"?

This goes beyond not actually having the stuff yet.. It's simply incredulous that this kind of thing still happens

Could be region favour, I mean it's meant to be out by 5pm PMT. But for me it is nearly the 21st, as my countdown clock expired around 6am. You can imagine how frustrating that is. 16 hours since the clock expired and no dice for this chummer.

FWIW, I'm in Seattle and cannot download the soundtrack yet. Believe, I've been trying, too.

Like yourselves, my timer went away for hours and hours and suddenly came back with the same message lacking a promo code or an ability to download the soundtrack. It says the full game will be available in about 4 hours though, so I'm done compulsively checking for a while.

So it's not even consistent there either? :<

Yeah, it's not available via GoG yet. Kickstarter Backers have a rewards website to get digital rewards, The soundtrack is downloadable there, but out of many thousands of accounts, a few have problems the customer support has to fix.

Ah, that would make sense. Unfortunately, I did not Kickstart this so have no way of confirming. I assume you're right.

Yeah, this has been been a bit unprofessional from GOG (the flawed timer and the false notice about the downloadable soundtrack) but then again on their website HBS had previously stated that the game will officially release on 20/08/2015 10:00 PST.

GOG should have corrected the timer according to this earlier, but as long as I will get what I had paid for at the official time of release I will see no reason to complain. I personally just got bit concerned as to what to expect with regards to the availability of the actual game because of the "false alarm" about the soundtrack.

It's not definite, no. No way to tell, and I don't expect we ever will since Saddestpanda is still offline and posts here about as frequently as I do. Maybe "The sound track [sic] works for me" means they've heard it or parts of it elsewhere and are enjoying it? Who knows?

The timer disappearing and the possibility of getting access to even a little content early put me in a tailspin.

I think someone should have been reading the boards and responding to us, but what do I know? Maybe they don't take this release as seriously as I do ... ;)

Think steam customers could also register their game earlier (and predownload too?), registering as soon as I have the key would be something I'd have expected from gog also.

I don't see that, but I'm also one of those who 100% boycotts Steam, so I don't have an account to log in and fully confirm.
