It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Faenwulf: So yes, you can Cyber yourself out until you're nearly as "un"human as Racter and just about rival Ambrose. ;)
Good to know. I'll probably start on that as soon as we get the latest patch here. :D

enguerrand: So why, why, why ? don't they just upload the latest build from the vendor to Galaxy ? There is no need for Q&A, just upload the build.
Then they'd get people that don't use Galaxy bitching that the normal update installer isn't available at the same time.

I agree though, with Galaxy there's no technical excuse for them to not just throw the latest version up once they have it. I'm thinking the issue is probably legal, on Steam the developer just uploads their own new build therefore if they f*ck something up, they're the ones liable. GOG probably has to change all their policies and setup a similar infrastructure for Galaxy before this can be done.
Well first of allGalaxystill is beta, so it doesnt compress files yet, but will later. Then GoG gets Patches later than Steam and tests if they work, before they pull them out. But well, therefor you have a working rollback feature.
I would say a week of waiting for a patch is ok, but not longer.
Meh, always excuses. I'll just use Steam for new games from now on.

Well, steam used to test out patches and I liked that process better. Especially, since the process uses their service. GoG is going to have a roll back feature. So, I would assume that devs will have direct access to push patches in the future. I'll fine with waiting. But, my life doesn't revolve around video games or patching them.

I'm sorry. How terribly dull of me to complain about bad service. Clearly I'm a basement dweller and my life revolves around games...Thanks for pointing that out.
It's live on GOG ! Yeah ! :) And Linux version included this time, great :) I'll start the game tonight !
Anyone else having trouble applying the patch?

MadnerKami: Anyone else having trouble applying the patch?
I do. Tried it twice, got the same message in the patch log:

Shadowrun: Hong Kong patch log
Update from version 2.0.1.2 to 2.0.2.3

Error modifying F:\Games\Shadowrun - Hong Kong\SRHK_Data\resources.assets

Even downloaded the patch a second time and applied it as administrator.

Solution anyone?

EDIT: I think I know where the problem lies, insufficient disk space. Deleted some data and started the patch
again, quite sure it'll work this time.

Used Galaxy and the Update worked flawless ;)
Yes, what I wrote in my previous post was the problem, insufficient disk space.

I doubt the patch needs north of 200GiB of space.

After the failed patching attempts I checked the disk space and I had a bit less than 2 GB. After deleting 1,6 GB's worth of data I successfully installed the patch. Now I have almost 4 GB, so you're right, the patch doesn't appear to need that much additional space, but it needs it temporarily. Same thing happened with Blackguards 1.
So I can download the 3,0,5 installer, but there's no link to a patch for the GOG downloader....
I'm gonna bust my data limit this month, can't afford to grab another 3G+... have to wait till tomorrow.

How come no patch link?

It's 18 megs, download it with your browser, the GOG downloader link is there now as far as I can see too.
