Hey there I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

I have managed to download the installer fine enough.

and when activating the installer it seems to work fine but upon reaching 100% of the install bar it just seems to crash and the installer has to close. All the files have been installed correctly and when I manually went into the hard drive and found them the game does load.

anyhow thought Id post this here for the techs.

Edit upon trying to install the new patch it came up, unable to find installation please install.

I've also had this problem on Windows 7.

Go into your Antivirus - open it up and look for the setting for Live Protection (against files opening ion your computer)

I have Avast. So what I did is to make a folder called "GOG" in my Documents folder, and I put all of my GOG installers in there.

Then I opened Avast and in the settings, as mentioned above, added that GOG folder to the Exceptions. I also added the GOG Games folder on my main hard drive where GOG installers install my games to. Use whatever convention feels comfortable to you, but a method like this doesn't force me to constantly add new game installers (that have issues) as a new exception.
