When I boot up the Linux version 1920*1080 isn't an option for resolution. On my Windows partition it is. Any ideas on how to fix this ?

Never mind. Fixed. For some reason the options at the main menu didn't display 1920*1080 but as soon as I tried to change it while in game 1920*1080 was there.

I just wonder the same thing and found a solution. With the highest visible resolution, 1600x900, 1920x1080 is not visible but still on the list. The problem is that the list extends beyond the bottom of the screen.

Workaround:
Hover the mouse over the bottom entry and hit the arrow key down. That selects the next entry on the list. It might not be 1920x1080 right away but I got it with the third attempt or so.
