I pre-ordered the game during the 33% discount at €18.29, now it costs €18.19 without the discount.
Did I pre-order the deluxe edition? I don't think so, since it offers that package to me at an additional 9 more euros.

So my question - what happened? What did I pre-order and why does the game cost less now than it did during the pre-order discount

You did pre-order the deluxe edition, just like i did. If you go to the downloads for Shadowrun Hong Kong in your library, you should see a code at the bottom of the download list, which is supposed to give you access to the assets of the deluxe edition. (That's the stuff that costs now 9 euros).

Problem, at least for me and some others: The code seems borked at the moment. But it should be fixed soon.

I was using GOG Galaxy and it didn't show the code to me. I should report it as a bug maybe, thanks either way.
