I noticed the download size for Dragonfall on the Galaxy client says 7.2 GB while the download size from the GOG's site is only 1.5 GB.

What am I missing here?

The installer is compressed so it's a smaller download. Downloading through Galaxy (I assume, since I don't use it) downloads all the game files uncompressed. It's all the same in the end.

As Grilledfish said, Galaxy downloads raw uncompressed files, so patches and installs can be extremely large.

But you can download the compressed installer from the Extras section for the game in Galaxy, then just install it that way. Galaxy should pick it up and automatically add it once the install is done.

I haven't used Galaxy in months so my instructions may have changed, but that's how it used to work.
