Hey,

I'm playing a decker as a main character, and when in the Matrix, the Suppression program's icon is permanently inactive.
I don't remember having this kind of a problem in Shadowrun Returns, although it's been a while since I played it, so I might just not remember how to use it.

Is there some trick to it, that I'm missing?

Edit: Ok, I think I figured it out. Looks like it needs 3 AP to use, and the basic deck only provides two. Got to finally scrounge up cash and buy a better one.

Yes, the Sony deck is very limiting. Even the Renraku at the next tier up will give you 3 AP.

Here are the detailed specs of each deck:

Sony CTY-360
The first deck made for shadowrunners. Simple, street ready and nearly indestructible.
1 Decking 3 Programs 1 ESP 0 Evasion 150 IP 2 AP

Renraku Kraftwerk-1
Renraku's best deck and easily modified for the streets.
3 Decking 4 Programs 2 ESPs 2 Evasion 175 IP 3 AP

Fuchi VirtuaX
Fuchi created the VirtuaX for employees. Now deckers love to use it against them.
5 Decking 5 Programs 2 ESPs 3 Evasion 200 IP 3 AP

Fairlight Excalibur
The deck that every decker dreams about. It's the Holy Grail of cyberdecks.
7 Decking 6 Programs 3 ESPs 5 Evasion 225 IP 4 AP
