Okay, so I did the quest at the Universal Brotherhood last night, and for some reason I thought I was pretty much at the end of the game. I'm now finished with the Inner Sanctum, but it cost all the money I had left to put a team together for that last mission. Am I in a no-way-out situation here? I only see one save file when I go to load a game, so I'm not sure if there is a way to back up a few campaigns and try to be more careful with my credits, or if I'm just screwed at this point.

Any input? I wouldn't mind backing up a few missions so I could get back to this point with the funds to hire a crew for the side mission that just opened up, but it's certainly not a quest I can pull off solo. I'd hate to have to start the whole game over, but I'm wondering if that may be the case. Thanks, guys! :)
Is the side quest to rescue the scientist? If so If you go talk to Johnny Clean and start the next main quest you get 8000 nuyen which should be enought to hire a crew for the side quest and then you can use the payday from the side quest to tackle the main quest.

Going to try that later today when I've got the free time. Thanks for the info! :)

edit: Didn't have time to play out any missions, but I loaded up the game and talked to Johnny Clean and went far enough to get the 8000 nuyen. I saved and am ready to get back into it when I'm able. Thanks again for your help, I'm not sure how I missed that, and I was pretty convinced I'd backed myself into a corner. :)

Also the autosave seems to constantly overwrite itself, but that's not exactly true. You have a "revert" option when you load a game, which let's you you reset your save to a previous one. So if you want to go back a few scenes, here's the solution.
