I just got Shadowgate, and redeemed my Steam key for it, and when I launch the game it gets stuck on "Loading" at the very beginning. I can move the mouse pointer around, and close the game, but it won't do anything besides that...

I have tried using only one monitor, I have tried unplugging USBs, I have tried uninstalling and restarting. No dice. Any help would be awesome.


Um.... I tried lowering the resolutions and starting the game, with no luck, so I reset it back to 1080p, and then I went into the local files and just started opening and reading everything.... I didn't change anything, I just was going to see what the "output" file said when I tried to open the game, so I tried starting the game again and it worked..... I have no idea.


So...solved....I guess...?
