The system at GOG's end appears to be pushing through updates from the last month.

You may want to have a look through this thread to see when and what Shadowgate updated.

Why the last updated installer gog file weighs only 38% of the past one??

same for the german version, unfortunately coming together with a checksum error thus the installers are probably broken
