Under win 7, I had to run as admin and set win xp copatability mode - THEN - add it to the list od DEP exceptions.

Control Panel\System and Security\System - then click on "advanced system settings" on the left and under performance select "settings".
The third tab is "Data Execution Prevention". Click "add" and find the Shadow Watch exe file (most likely at C:\GOG Games\Shadow Watch by default), hit apply and you should be good to go!

hi, just installed and ran the game on win7
i am always admin and logged in as admin so i don't know if this makes any difference, but i can run the game and i dont get any messages.

i do see that eventhough its an old game (25% when the game is not in view is abit heavy but that seems to be the case with all old games so i can live with that :D

Alt tab back and the menuscreen is messed like the old retail version when ran on anything higher then 95/98
XP also messes up the interface (fallout seems to have it fixed)

after i use the cursor as a brush i can brush back the buttons

but if i dont alt tab, after i run game then i can play the game.

you cant alt tab from any screen cause the screen will be black.
I havent tried to disable all process so that the bare minium is running

my av, my antimalware tool, my explorer, printer spooler and all process needed are running
maybe its the dx that messes up after a simple alt tab i dont know
but as long as i dont alt tab i am fine.

And this was the only incompatible thing that happend to the orignal retail cd game i own, other then that it worked a charm as long as you dont switch to desktop, ps: desktop switch tools or so promoted on the interrnet wont work i tried them in the past, so just dont alt tab and your fine.

it does not matter what nvidia you use cause my previous nvidias (i only use that cause normally they are excellent cards with a few minor things)do the same, corrupting the screen.

Nope, can't run this dog. The one time I was able to get into a mission, my characters were invisible.
I've tried all kinds of settings, compatibility, updates, yada-yada-yada - no success. At least I bought it on sale. I'll put it into safe storage until a workable solution comes along.
