So as of last night for some reason the game will randomly begin making my character run/attack/etc. superduper fast. Things still charge at normal speed but everything is just out of whack. My character zooms forth way faster than the other person in my game, dialogue triggers too soon and characters talk over each other, and animations are wildly rapid and spastic. If we stand on the same spot and run to a landmark, I'll arrive several times soon.. not "carrying a heavy weapon" faster or "movement speed bonus" faster, but literally in a third the time it takes the other player.

I do use EVGA's Precision to manage my GPU's temp and all, and I am wondering if it adjusting the card speed or something is messing it up considering many games use things like FPS and all as sync for multiplayer.. anyone had similar issues and find any good fixes?

Figured it out!

Attacking another play causes it to happen.. Not sure if it's the weapon or the effect or what.. My partner is playing with an ice-buffed chainsaw, and if he just stands there and saws me for a sec I can move at ridiculous hyperspeed. It would happen randomly, and after fights, as he'd often clip me on accident in the midst of things. I'd guess it may be related to ice, since on-hit affects work on teammates for whatever stupid reason (put on a health-drained to teammates multiplayer mod and hit someone, they'll get healed.)

To anyone that sees this thread - stop hitting your teammates, it may be ice (i.e. it registers as a hit but the slow doesn't work, but perhaps it is re-adjusting speed back up to normal still, thus stacking a growing speed increase, or something like that?) or it may be chainsaw, but it's definitely the culprit.
