VaaNFM: I have tried to limiting it ingame. And, my moniter is limited to 60 fps while it is a 144hz moniter. I have turned on Vsync and tried triple buffering.
My specs:
windows 10
980ti x2 sli not turned on
32ram game installed in ssd 1gb
i-7 5960x
Game : Shadow warrior 2
the weird thing is the game seemed to work fine a few months ago on my i5 6400,GTX 970 system.
It somehow is performing worse now,not sure how that happened.Tried different Nvidia drivers, different settings and tried reinstalling it.Nothing worked, while my 6700k/1080ti system seems to have no issues.
I'm genuinely confused because all other games seem to work just fine..
Edit:After really looking at every detail it seemed like the game selected my dedicated GTX 970 as my second input device, not sure how that happened but I couldn't find a way to fix it trough the usual trouble shooting.
I do know that this happened with my Laptop as well that has a GTX980M with the Optimus configuration where you choose what applications run with either the integrated or dedicated chip (or just using either as standard). Not sure how this happened but the quickest way to fix this was just formatting the drives and reinstalling Windows.
There should be a bios solution but the software (game) just keeps on choosing it the wrong way.
This could be an issue for future reference.
(finding another possibility, when I use the MSi Afterburner/Rivatumer packages specifically for the W10 creators update the game just responds very badly to it,not sure if this happens to everyone edit: nevermind seems to be a general issue caused by Afterburner and not game specific)
