is this some kind of joke or con? why the HELL is the 2013 shadow warrior split into two 7gb downloads? dx9 and dx11.

i want a full download that has all settings. it's a fucking setting (switching between direct xs) that we get two versions for? (was it some issue at the time? even so, now especially is time to not even replace the two, but add a proper full one!!!) it doesn't matter if the dx11 has larger/more textures, this should be one download even if instead of around 7gb the proper download is 9gb or larger. dying light is 30+gb so it's not size that is now an issue. (there may be even larger games but that one i remember the size of.)

this is just stupid. you gonna split more games into dx9/10/11/12 versions? maybe you already have and i haven't seen them yet. i'm now about 50% downloading all my shit from this cancer site.

two fucking 7gb versions like an idiot for a modern game? what the fuck!?!?!? thank fuck for steam! i never though i'd say that.

The DX11 version in an extended version of the game with new content that's missing in the DX9 version (which was the original pc release).

fine, the actual reason should matter not. can they not combine it, so one downloads one SW2013 that has both content? the steam version has both so this is definitely a gog thing anyway. i mean this just made me so angry. the only reason something like this should be a thing is if there was a dx12 winstore version of a a game on gog and a non winstore one, and they had to for actual technical reasons. ie: quantum break.

and that they haven't fixed it shows they truly don't care.
From my understanding the changes from the DX9 to the DX11 version are fundamental, so they couldn't just be included in the older version. The patch itself that added DX11 was 6GB in size alone. Of course, it could just be combined to a single, 14GB download, but that would hardly be more convenient, would it? I suppose that is how the Steam version works, though (The store page says it requires 15GB disc space, although I don't know how much either GOG version requires on installation).

Either way, I recommend you try to contain your anger quite a bit in future postings if you wish to get (polite) replies, especially from officials. Also, a video game really shouldn't make you this angry. Anyway, have fun!
