Seriously, what the fuck. The updates made the game worse. Shotgun is basically useless now plus I can't use any of the existing trainers anymore. I would ask for a refund if it weren't to late.

Reinstall the previous version. Can't all versions be acquired through Gog galaxy?

The shot gun was buffed but is still kind of crap. It needs more range and it's last upgrade is worthless. It could maybe use a damage boost.

Keep old versions until you know you don't want them.

Damn, they made it even worse since June. Just installed the game again (1.035) and it's just not fun anymore. Feels like they nerfed the shotgun even more, sometimes even a close distance shotty blast doesn't kill the weak enemies, range is about the same like the sword now. But that's not enough, there are even more bugs than before. Challenges don't update anymore, sometimes I can't claim my challenge rewards. I really want my money back.

For some reason I thought they fixed the game for the so called "Definitive Edition" but they surprised me again by making it even worse. I gave the game one last chance and at least the shotgun feels a bit better than during my last test run, still shitty range though, but besides that it crashed twice during the tutorial level.

That's it, I've had enough. I paid 45€ for a game that is now unplayable. It's inexcusable to change a game so much after release. It really feels more like a bought an early access copy. I'll never buy a FWH game ever again, probably not even a Devolver game.
