I am playing Shadow Warrior 2013 and cannot seem to get out of the burning bulding in the first act. Looking at walk-throughs, people just walk out the door but it refuses to open for me. Access to the first floor is blocked by an invisible wall so no getting out that way either.

Solution: You need to use your qi once. Then the door will open normally.
