Following the information I posted and [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/shadow_warrior_complete/rebinding_keys_mouselook/post6]here, I have encountered a few more problems with keybindings and Shadow Warrior.

(1) In both the 'Shareware' and 'Full' versions of the Twin Dragons expansion, the keybindings that I saved in sw.cfg do not function. I did not extensively test the problem, so it is possible that (a) it uses a separate .cfg file that I could not readily find which is the default settings or (b) simply doesn't recognise the changed sw.cfg for some reason.

(2) In Wanton Destruction, the keybindings were not recognised beyond pressing Enter at New Game. I could not use the mouse or arrow keys to scroll between the 'Shareware' and 'Full' versions of the game. Pressing Enter or L-Clicking did not launch the 'Shareware' version of the game.

I am not sure how to go about fixing either of these issues and any help would be appreciated.

Update:

(1) I found the .cfg file for Twin Dragons in the Dragon folder. For most, this should be in C:\GOG Games\Shadow Warrior Complete\dragon\SW.cfg. I noticed that the .cfg file was the same as the default .cfg file in the Shadow Warrior Complete folder. However, the .cfg file in the dragon folder had the same date as the edited .cfg in the Shadow Warrior Compete folder.( I'm not sure how to explain that oddity.) In any event, I deleted the .cfg in the dragon folder, then copied over the edited .cfg from the Shadow Warrior Complete folder. Copying over the edited .cfg worked with no problems, all edited keybinds being retained.

(2) I did not experience this issue a second time. When I booted up the 'Full' version of Wanton Destruction I noticed that my edited keybinds were retained, probably because all of the Wanton Destruction files are in the Shadow Warrior Complete folder and therefore using the same .cfg.

Hopefully this helps anyone who had any issues with both the keybinds and trying to figure out why their new keybinds were retained in one expansion and not the other.

What a great game
I'm glad I could help. In that vein, here's another heads-up for you:

In Wanton Destruction, there are a few areas where boss-type enemies must be killed to drop keys but do not spawn. As well, the final boss will not spawn. From what I have read this only occurs on the first two difficulty levels, however I have not tested it to see if this is the case. Wanton Destruction was an experience that was very, very lacking and as such I can't recommend people playing it on 'hard' (third difficulty) the first time just to avoid these issues.

Following that, Twin Dragons was an enjoyable experience and I encountered no issues with it.
Thanks again for the heads up: I'm halfway through the original game and I'm loving it. I had completely forgotten how these shooters weren´t as obvious as current ones, hiding the exits of the levels, etc... And they are so fun to play.

Thanks for the info about the WD expansion, I think I'll skip that one because of the problems and the lack of quality.

I intend to play Blood after Shadow Warrior, if it's as good as this one I'm in for a great Easter Holiday.

Thanks again and greetings from Spain!! If you ever come to Madrid I'll buy you a beer.

If I am ever in Madrid I will take you up on that!

Blood is quite fun, however it presents a hefty amount of difficulty up front. Once you acclimate yourself to this you'll be fine and enjoy the really dark and brutal experience. One thing to watch out for is the range of the pitchfork and small enemies like rats, as they are very hard to hit and can take a fair amount of health out of you with a nibble on Normal difficulty.
