Recently, I've been rather enjoying this game. However, during the mission "Flirty Fishing part 3" I abruptly encountered a bug which immediately caused the game to crash to desktop. What's more, now the game seems to crash when I attempt to start it, during the first sequence of a dragon encircling a sword. The only message I get is the Microsoft standard, utterly uninformational "this program has stopped working" dialog which doesn't even grant an event log before closing the game.

The course of events was that I had finished the mission, destroyed the vending machines and finally blowing up the armoured van (after repeatedly attempting to blow it up with my weapons because I thought there was a pickup inside), before teleporting back to Dragon Mounting and spontaneusly deciding to visit Larry's Gunshack for no real reason, and when I hit the dialog option to see his inventory the game crashed to desktop as described above.

I am using Windows Seven and all my computer's specs are well above the requirements, as seen by the fact that I have more than ten hours of gameplay on my savefile.

I really hope that you can help me with this, as this makes a game that I am quite enjoying unplayable.

Weird, but rebooting appears to have fixed the problem. Now I just have to hope that it doesn't recur.
