I think the game probably plays well with a controller, I would not know but it looked like it would.
It also played just fine with mouse and keyboard, not a given nowadays. This I know.

Tried it. Don't like it. Plays better with my gaming trackball/keyboard, IMO. I just like having the controller as a backup or for a second player.

so you can actually customize controls on this?
I downloaded the free version here on gog and there was no option to customize controls which made it very hard to play for me and for whatever reason out of 100 games on my computer the free version only would load when I reinstalled it.
If I buy the redux I at least want to know before hand if I can customize controls.
