Just started the game up, it's very ood, but I do not like the control system. Is there a way to change it?

Controls are configured through the setup.exe .. drag and drop it onto dosbox to run it.

go to your start menu and go to all programs and find the GOG folder and then the shadow warrior sub folder there you will see Setup click on that and you can re-set the controls this works also for Redneck Rampage, Duke 3d and Blood
