Yes, if you go hunting for secret areas you will find them.
I've found about 5 of them so far (anime girls), currently playing the game for a second time trying to find all the secret areas.

Try Shogo: Mobile Armor Divison. There is a tonnage of anime, whole game is based on a few anime comics.
