I bought Shadow Man yesterday, and after starting it up the game started behaving weirdly, mainly, it seems my character must have forgotten the laws of friction this morning. I'm slipping around like there's no tomorrow and when I stand still he starts having some kind of tics instead, and sometimes even start skating around a little. I know that wet grass can be slippery, but this is a bit much.

The game also seems to be running abnormally fast in some areas, Shadow Man himself seems to run, well, relatively as usual. But the animals and insect swarms in the background are either spinning around like crazy or going up and down like I don't know what. The water also seems to be behaving strangely, the ripples are extremely fast.

I have tried different settings but nothing seems to correct this, and I don't really know where to start looking for a solution here. Ideas?

EDIT: I reinstalled the game, ran the setup as admin just to be sure and I did not change any settings when starting up the game for the first time and it now runs as it should. I will try out different resolutions and other settings to check if the problem occurs again, because I still have no idea what caused this.

EDIT 2: It seems the game is working perfectly now, and the only difference I am aware of that I made was running the setup as admin, although this is the first time I have had to do [Right Click -> Run as Administrator] for a game I bought here. But I can now run the game with pretty much any setting, which is good. I can't find a way to delete this thread, but if someone else has the same problem this might help.

Enabling V-Sync should fix these kind of issues.
